In times like these, there’s something deeply grounding about simply being together. Community matters, and we want to create more space for connection.
This month, we’re launching a new Sunday Brunch series â€" a relaxed, welcoming gathering to enjoy good food, conversation, and time with family and friends.
Alongside brunch, each month will feature a short, engaging cultural experience. For our first gathering, we’ll be exploring the Mitzvah of Tefillin in a way that’s approachable, hands-on, and meaningful for everyone.
What to expect:
A closer look: See what’s inside Tefillin and learn how they’re carefully crafted.
Hands-on experience: Try writing with real quills, ink, and parchment â€" fun for kids and adults alike.
Modern meaning: A thoughtful, down-to-earth conversation about tradition, purpose, and connection today.
Whether this is completely new to you or something you’ve seen before, you’ll walk away with something meaningful.
When: Sunday, January 25, 2026 | 11:00 AM
Where: Chabad of Uptown 4752 N. Winthrop Ave. Chicago, IL 60640
We’re building something special – one brunch at a time — and we’d love for you to be part of it.
